Reflections on "Voyage to Lilliput"

In this story everyone is raised similarly so that everyone is almost identical. The idea in something like this would be so everyone would be equal but it does not work in Lilliput because there is a lot of jealousy and backstabbing in the story. Despite these obvious problems, the story seems to promote a society where everyone belongs. Everyone is similar and has their own place. The contrast of Gulliver is that he has no place. He does not belong anywhere, hence why he wanders around as an alien. I think the idea of everyone having a place and a specific kind of job is a very utopian idea. I do not agree with the idea of everyone being identical but not every utopian idea floats with everyone, I suppose.
