Reflections on "Imagine" by John Lennon

The world John Lennon describes in his song "Imagine" is a beautiful picture of a society untouched. His ideas do not seem attainable or realistic but even so they give us an idea of what a society could look like if human beings were perfect. I do not think it is very utopic to eliminate God and religion from the equation but he poses a valid point because religion does cause a lot of division. To me, equality is the most important aspect of any utopia and it is what we are lacking in the world we live in today.
